Corporate Contributions to State Candidates and Committees

As noted earlier in this report, during 2011 Allstate contributed approximately one percent of its public policy resources to state candidates for public office, political parties, political committees, and other entities organized and operating under 26 U.S.C. Section 527.

Allstate supported 100 candidates and committees, with the contributions for this period totaling $188,500. Of this amount, $84,400 supported Democratic candidates, $84,000 supported Republican candidates and $20,100 supported nonpartisan committees.
